In the beginning there was war. The three major races of earth were in chaos, corrupt and wrought with fighting. Peace was not found anywhere. Infants were stolen from their cradles, and innocents were killed. There was no order, no tranquility, just fear and hatred, as the elven race, the vampirics, and humanity fought for control. The years passed, and soon the three decided they could no longer stand the fighting. The elves hid themselves and their grand city of Faleneska behind a powerful enchantment, concealed from the others. The humans and vampires managed to settle their differences and fell to an era of truce thanks to the efforts of a few tireless peace-makers.

But the years passed, and peace those few had created struggled to hold. The humans began to fight within themselves. Soon, a few of the strongest banded together and formed an alliance. They, with their strength, attracted others and formed an empire. The Karovegan Empire they were called. Together, they forced those who opposed them into submission.
